Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FMV), Technical University of Lisbon (UTL). PhD in Veterinary Sciences from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar (ICBAS), University of Porto (UP) in 2012. She has developed her research work at the Institute of Agrifood Sciences and Technologies (ICETA) of the Center for Animal Science Studies (CECA) in the area of emerging parasitic pathologies in livestock species. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinics. She is responsible for supervising Integrated Master’s degrees in Veterinary Medicine. Invited speaker at various lectures. Member of the scientific committee of several conferences. Participation in various national and international congresses. She serves as Director of the Clinical and Veterinary Research Center of Vairão at UP-ICBAS, member of the Scientific Committee of the Integrated Master’s in Veterinary Medicine at ICBAS, member of the Council of the Department of Veterinary Clinics, and responsible for the Animal Welfare Body of UP-ICBAS (ORBEA).
